I'll go ahead and give context on the fall. Several months before, i wasnt doing well. I was being pulled in several directions but i was really just being pulled apart. Then one night on my way back to my dorm room, i turned my radio on and a preacher stated "you are a warrior of god and one day your purpose will be known to you." It was unsettling simply because i didnt listen to Christian radio. Eventually I drop college and go to work hanging billboards. A female friend got me the job and was genuinely concerned for me. Things werent getting better, then i was in her office one day, talking, and i was leaning against a filing cabinet. There was a piece of paper with stars on all the locations of our business and one was were my other grandparents lived. I walked outside, looked up, and said to god, if they have a job, im going to move. When I called and asked, the operations manager said, " Its funny you called, because we just had to fire a guy, If you want the job its yours". So I called my grandparents, and they said i could stay. So I left it all behind to go 600+ miles away. 3 weeks later, Im climbing a board ( no fixed ladders on poles) using a 40' extension ladder. When i was almost to the platform the ground gave way, the ladder cleared what it was against and slid down the board. It then got caught on the last piece of a 3' angle iron with one side...and it was slowly rocking off. This is when things started to change....time started slowling, sounds were almost rippling the air, the color looked like the old technicolor shows....and what i started seeing looked like finely woven fabric. Strings were connecting and letting go and growing new ones...the whole thing was changing but always connected...its so hard to describe. I was very calm and i was watching the ladder getting ready to fall. I looked up and asked..well really told god... You either kill me or keep me, but please dont f!@k me up. Probably best not to swear in prayer but i wasnt really in the best moment. So i watched...then it cleared..and i was falling. Falling is a strange sound, the air goes from still to defeaning so quickly..i also wonder if it could have been angel wings. Eitherway I hit the ground and rolled down a hill. When i opened my eyes all i could see was the words Yoo-Hoo. I stopped rolling right before a bottle. I wasnt in shock so I asked god again, pls let me move my toes, and started to asses the damage. Everything was working but my left arm was hanging out of socket. Then the people that saw me fall came. They were definetly in shock and freaking out... one lady was crying, putting hands on me and praying, one gentleman wouldnt stop screaming "DONT MOVE" so i obliged and eventually got an ambulance ride. When you fall from that height, its considered a trauma fall and they will check everything...annd i mean everything. I was stripped naked and at least 5 people touched me in places i didnt think could be touched. After the assessment is when the doctor said its a miracle that its only my shoulder since most people dont walk after that height, he attribute my boot coice as to why my legs didnt break. SO that when they start putting me under with the best drug ive ever felt. I instantly started telling everyone how much i loved them then i was out. When i was coming to it ws like a record player that starts up....I was really slowly still telling poeple i loved them. Thats when the door burst open and the lady that was in a fire was rushed in. I witnessed everything they were doing to her as i was coming out of those drugs and they wouldnt let me leave until that injection wore off. That why i say, Look on the bright side, you could be on fire right now. No matter my experience, or any of ours, someone has it way worse. Eventually that same woman that got me the job and her friend decided to leave our hometown and go to a coastal town near me, when they saw my condition, they said lets go for new adventures...so i did.
