@RyanPatrickOl pretty clearly both are in the wrong. high speed limit double yellow road and the ups is stopped in the middle, then turns to cross it. motorcycle tried to overtake but only cause he was already going so fast

Fuck it, I wish every show had filler. Filler has lost so much meaning now. YES, I want mundane things to happen! YES, I want “nothing burger” episodes. Why? BECAUSE I ENJOY TJE SHOW AND THE CHARACTERS DAMN IT!!! I like small stupid stuff, I ENJOY it, in fact, we need MORE of it.

The manga’s Monster Association arc in general had various ideas and concepts that weren’t actually bad, but should have been kept for later into the story rather than badly shoehorned into an already solidly written arc. Adding some fluff is one thing (the manga always did that) but the plot was completely lost when it started completely replacing large amount of webcomic scenes for no reason.
Like for example, I have no problem with a dogfight battle involving Drive Knight but absolutely not at the cost of it basically replacing Psykos’ role as leader of the dragons… Just keep the idea for a different arc, man. Same for Platinum S, keep it for when Black S recovers enough cells much later into the story. Phoenix Man was also big enough to give him his own exclusive arc. Garou being controlled by God could be kept for the future God arc.
The MA arc was already the longest arc of the series by far in the webcomic, it was a terrible idea to clog it up 10x more instead of keeping most of the ideas for new future arcs.

As much as I'm not a big fan of OPM's story in the manga around mid to end of Garou's arc. Saitama vs Garou genuinely tackles so much in terms of Saitama's story, Garou's arcs and Saitama finally finding a person to fight only to feel dissatisfied due to the loss of his friends is quite strong and would probably be a good finale based on the build up of Saitama and Garou and their stand off

@79hfg3n3948rhf0 @fagwithacne definitely worth a rewatch, i dont want to put words in your mouth but i feel like a decent amount of criticism ab fwwm is from tonal whiplash, almost. the show is full of moments of whimsy while fwwm is bleak through and through

@fagwithacne to be fair i havent seen it in over a decade but at the time i thought it elaborated on things i already loved in the main series in uninteresting ways. But I loved The Return so maybe I was just too young to enjoy fwwm back then

even though twin peaks is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen I haven’t actually watched that many of Lynch’s movies outside of it. Seen Eraserhead (great), FWWM (didn’t like, need to rewatch), Blue Velvet (didn’t like , maybe need to rewatch), and now Inland Empire (love)
