Last summer fucked up this season. It was a mess. No early signings, top targets went elsewhere, the Isak drama dragged on far too long, then we scrapped around for the best we could get towards the end of the window. Hardly ideal. I hope lessons have been learned., #NUFC

@MrBonMot Be careful what you wish for. I’ve seen too many cries of ‘sack the manager’ over the years only to see him replaced by somebody no better or worse. You end up in a vicious circle where you have a patchwork squad bought by 4 different managers #NUFC

@smith_will20785 Which he has to take his share of the blame for. However the brutal facts are the kind of players that Newcastle need to take them to the next level, see Newcastle as a step down. No history and geographically outcast. Makes it unfashionable. Always been the case.

Probably an unpopular opinion on here but Howe has enough credit in the bank to recruit, rebuild and go again next season. This season was derailed by all the shit in the summer and how it played out. We need to act much faster in the market this time around #NUFC
