Good example of how Netflix and general American entertainment industry is fiction prelude to reality. We should all be looking at late 19th century/early 20th century social ideology campaigns in Europe/Russia to understand how fast this is about to happen in this decade. Freedom/Socialism dichotomies are no longer about human rights overseas—it’s about basic civil rights in the USA. The ideological war is now here in realtime. Sadly, so called “capitalists” and so called “liberals” and so called “conservatives” have accelerated the problem.

By this time in 1775, some of my ancestors in South Carolina were already forming patriot units, including the Turkey Creek horse rifles. Over the course of the war, Edward Lacey’s mounted infantry regiment would fight Cornwallis’ and Tarlton’s troops from the salt marshes around Charleston to King’s Mountain in the Carolina backcountry.

In his @WSJ op-ed “Trump Can Restore Honor to American Art,” @johnnyburtka wrote some kind words about me: “There are plenty of other candidates better suited to restore honor to federal arts and culture agencies. Justin Shubow, president of the National Civic Art Society, served on the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts during Mr. Trump’s first term before becoming chairman in 2021. He played a critical role in the president’s classical-architecture initiative and influenced the designs of the Dwight Eisenhower and World War I Memorials… [He] would serve as [an] eloquent defender[] of Western civilization.”

I’ll be proud to vote for President Donald J. Trump for the third time this November. Unlike many individuals in public life, President Trump has actually become a better statesman over the passage of time. And there is something to note in his physical visage after the assassination attempt. It is noticeable and remarkable. Something has changed. (People who knew Teddy Roosevelt said something similar.)
