@xbradtc The character is supposed to be 6'5" and 250 pounds. The actor is 6'2" and around 225. As a guy who is bigger than the character, I can ASSURE you that he is NOT finding clothes in a thrift shop.

I love it that Jack Reacher can walk into any thrift store, anytime, and come out with a perfect-fit pair of jeans and a nondescript, dark t-shirt. Just once, I want to see Reacher walking around in a pair of jorts and a "Mitchell Family Reunion 2017" t-shirt in neon green.

During the past 41 days, Senate Democrats showed America who they’re fighting for. 480+ TSA agents quit, the U.S. suffered over $2.5 billion in losses, and there were four-hour-long lines at our busiest airports. All to protect criminal illegal aliens from deportation.

@fabian_mack @TugboatPhil @TXPackage "Only 37 states". In other words, 3/4 of them. And the discussion wasn't about economics. It was about "Blue Laws" which have nothing to do with economics, but about imposing "moral" values on businesses and consumers.

@smitty300 @TugboatPhil Only 37 states allow Sunday retail spirit sales; @TXPackage did studies showing being open 7 days vs 6 had no sales increase, but higher costs for payroll, utilities, security etc, vs Arkansas (NO alcohol sold in most of state on Sundays); beer/wine available almost statewide

Just curious how many of "you people" remember living with Blue Laws on most store goods. If you have to look that up you probably didn't. West Virginia still had them when I left home in 1975 and Virginia didn't get rid of them until the early 80s if I remember right.

@realBigStanH The same reason you hear, "There's no such thing as Santa Claus", and not, "There's no such thing as Rudolph". You don't need to criticize the supporting roles if you deny the main character.

Maybe the reason grown adults are acting like children about President Trump is because he has stepped up and has acted like a strict parent to a group of spoiled, ignorant, and entitled teenagers in a government that has been in need of a true father figure for a long time!!

BBQ RULES: We are about to enter the BBQ season. Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity . When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion: (1) The woman buys the food. Ensuring she is educated in the correct cuts of steak to purchase. (2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert. (3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand. (4) The woman remains outside the compulsory three meter exclusion zone where the exuberance of testosterone and other manly bonding activities can take place without the interference of the woman. Here comes the important part: (5) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL. (6) The woman goes inside to organise the plates and cutlery. (7) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is looking great. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he flips the meat Important again: (8) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN. (9) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table. (10) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes And most important of all: (11) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts. (12) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed ' her night off ', and, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women. 🤣🤣

Star Trek through the years- TOS: “Hey, this really diverse group of people is really good at their jobs. It’s something to aspire to.” TNG/VOY/DS9: “Hey, this really diverse group of people, which even includes old enemies, is really good at their jobs. It’s something to aspire to.” ENT: “These people that are brand new at this job are good at it, and they’re good at getting a diverse group of people to work together to do it. It’s something to aspire to.” NuTrek: “This group of idiots is really diverse, and that’s okay, because they’re so diverse!” Can we please understand why one of these is being rejected by fans of the franchise?
