IT’S OFFICIAL: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been cleared by Florida lawmakers to run for President without being forced to resign as governor. It’s expected that DeSantis will announce his run early next month (it could be within a week or two). Ron DeSantis, in my opinion, is just another Donald Trump when it comes to policies and politics. I believe both men go too far with their fear-mongering tactics, and take actions that border on pseudo-fascism. I believe that DeSantis will try and remain fairly close to Trump ideologically and he’ll hope that Trump faces more indictments before the primary season kicks off. I think DeSantis has a chance of closing the gap if more indictments come down on Trump. What are you thoughts on the two men? Would you prefer one over the other if you had to choose? Do you think DeSantis has a shot at defeating Trump in the primaries?

Elon, it’s a fact that Russia has tried to meddle in our elections. Probably most countries have. Russia is just really good at it. Democrats have a right to view Russia as the bogeyman after what was discovered about their involvement in the 2016 election. If the shoe was on the other foot Republicans would be making them the bogeyman too. Parnas’ account of events seems pretty credible when you align it with other known facts. While I believe the majority, if not all of the information on the Hunter hard drive is authentic, I also believe that some of the salacious stuff was likely set up by bad actors when Hunter made a trip to Europe (like Parnas claims.) Facts are important, so I can agree there.

So let me get this straight: Republicans think something illegal took place because Biden's campaign official Anthony Blinken allegedly asked a private citizen to get 50 other private citizens / former intel officials to write a letter saying that Hunter Biden's laptop had characteristics of a Russian disinformation operation. That very same letter also said, "We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement -- just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case." There is nothing untrue about what was said in the letter and it is still believed to this day that Russia could have had some involvement with Hunter's Laptop. Rudy Giuliani's former partner Lev Parnas admitted that Giuliani knew about the laptop well before it was found in Delaware because a Russian asset informed him of it, and Parnas claimed that Russia also had the info Hunter's laptop before the NY Post did. Sure sounds to me like Russia was involved in some way unless Parnas is lying. Wouldn't you agree?
