Join our innovative team at #Apple as a Research Scientist/Engineer specializing in LLM #Reasoning, #Planning, and General #Intelligence.
We are seeking an ideal candidate who:
- Is available to start by the end of this year
- Holds a PhD or will graduate by year-end
- Has 3-5 "first-author" research papers featured in prestigious conferences like NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, ACL, CVPR, among others
- Possesses expertise and has 1-2 "first-author" papers in Large Language Models (LLM) reasoning, planning, in-context learning, generalization, and understanding transformer mechanisms (These 1-2 papers could be a subset of the above 3-5 papers)
- Demonstrates proficiency in PyTorch, transformers, model training, and optimization
- Must be located in the US/Canada and able to relocate to Seattle by the end of this year
This position is tailored for individuals who meet all the specified criteria.
- Additional bonus: Research experience and papers in agentic LLMs, tool calling, memory, reinforcement learning, and familiarity with JAX
