Dear Somalis, President HSM is playing a dirty game with Somali women in Mogadishu. He is pushing them to leave the country and work as maids in Saudi Arabia. At the same time, he is flooding Mogadishu with Ugandan and Kenyan maids. I am not against foreign workers who we need them in areas like healthcare where there are real shortages. But bringing them in for cleaning jobs, while Somali women are suffering from unemployment, hungry and poverty, is wrong. On top of that, HSM has cut social security benefits for Somali women. Last month, brave Somali women like Sadia Ali were thrown in jail simply for peacefully protesting and demanding the right to work in their own country with dignity. Meanwhile, employment agencies continue to import Ugandan and Kenyan women for cleaning jobs. Somali youth are drowning in the sea or suffering in Libyan jails because they are desperate for a better life and all because there are no jobs at home.This is not fair. HSM is dangerous man who is increasing human trafficking issue to western countries. The photo is for Kenyan maid or cleaning lady in Mogadishu who was brought through this agency.

قرار شخصي. أنا مش هقدر أكمل في دين أذاني طول حياتي، ولسه بتضرّ منه لحد دلوقتي. مش مقتنعة إن المفروض أقبل فكرة إني “نص بني آدم”، أو إني من أكتر أهل النار، أو إني “زانية” لمجرد إني اتعطرت. لو الدين لازم يتاخد كـ package كاملة، ومينفعش أقبل منه جزء وأرفض جزء، فببساطة أنا مش مضطرة أكمل فيه. للأسف، أنا قررت أسيب الدين الإسلامي للأبد. وزي ما ربنا قال: “لا إكراه في الدين”. تركي للدين مش معناه إني مش مؤمنة بوجود ربنا. أنا لسه مؤمنة بوجوده، لكني رافضة الدين الإسلامي وكل ما ارتبط بيه من تطرف وأفكار أذتني. مش هضحك على نفسي تاني، ولا هفضل أبرر حاجات غريبة ومخالفة لقناعاتي، ولا أحاول أقنع نفسي إن الدين ده كرّمني، لأن دي مش الحقيقة بالنسبة لي. أما الالتزام بالقيم والحاجات اللي اتربيت عليها، فده شيء مفروغ منه، لأنه في الآخر قناعة شخصية وأخلاقية، مش محتاج يكون مرتبط بأي دين.
