@RevRichardColes Went to Copenhagen last month. Plenty of places not open at all in the city centre except for the convenience stores and shops selling tourist tat (of which I partook naturally). We don’t need to live in a 24/7 society!

Just been to the most well behaved and civilised gig in ages ✅ No filming by 75% of the audience of their phones, people actually WATCHED the band ✅Didn’t have to listen to people’s conversations whilst the band was playing ✅People weren’t constantly going to and from the bar

Friday afternoon training session on Introduction to Giving Feedback Well and this quote opened the session. Big takeaway for me. Can think of so many instances where people are convinced they’ve communicated effectively. Definitely a reflection point! 🤔

@FrancesBridgma1 @EmergMedDr I’ve never needed an appointment to renew my exemption card. That said, they’re apparently working on a digital version at NHSE (they’ll get around to launching it one day) so you can fill it in from home and your GP practice will be contacted to corroborate before issuance.

@EmergMedDr I think a big waste of money is the issuing of prescription exemption cards. Why do I as a type one diabetic have to be sent a letter, book a GP appointment, have them fill in a form and send me a new card every 3 years? My pancreas is broken, it won't magically fix itself
