@ShaykhIshraq Allama Iqbal said "Should Ala Hazrat (the Mujaddid of the previous century, Maulana Ahmad Raza Khan of Bareilly) not be smoking, I would have called him the Second Imam e Azam of Al Islam.

Muslim Attitudes Regarding Smoking: In the current Islamic consciousness, smoking is considered a questionable (discouraged or impressible) act. This is a recent normative crystalization. Historically, many authorities deemed it permissible and even smoked.

No one has contributed to the survival and spread of Qadiyanis in the subcontinent more than its opposition. By marginalizing the minority, you give them strength and fervor to survive. They feel vindicated when there is hostility toward them, that they are being tested by Allah

Praying for my hidayat with this much hate? With this attitude??Takfir is your lesson from Islam???Imagine if we were closer to Allah at the day of judgment than you??what would become of you?? Alhamdulillah truly gratefull I’m not part of the mullahs’ Islam.

Hanafi Usool is NOT: 1. Qur’an 2. Sunnah 3. Ijmaʿ 4. Qiyas Regardless of how the later texts frame it

Even though I haven't watched it, I believe Shaykh is going to be right. Football exceeds being just entertainment for most people. It is identity, it is allegiance, and it often tends to be emotional investment that rivals what they give to their deen. You see grown men devastated for days because their team lost. You see people whose mood, productivity, and peace are held hostage by the performance of strangers kicking a ball. You see rivalries that breed genuine hatred, mockery that cuts deeper than banter, and loyalty to clubs that supersedes loyalty to principles. That supercedes spouse to spouse connection. The Prophet (SAW) said a person will be with those he loves on the Day of Judgment. If our heart is attached to these players, if we defend them with more passion than we defend the Companions, if we know their stats better than we know our obligations as Muslims...well, where does that leave us? These footballers become role models. Their lifestyle, their arrogance, their disbelief, their immoral choices, even if human—all of it gets excused because they're good at a sport. And slowly, imperceptibly, our standards start reflecting theirs instead of the Sunnah. I think it is okay to watch football. I follow the opinion that says it is permissible. But we must ask ourselves if it controls us, or if we control it. Does losing a match ruin our day? Do we skip salāh and family obligations to catch a game? Do we feel more connected to a club than to our Muslim brothers? Do we idolize men who live in open rebellion against Allah? Because if any of that is true, Sheikh Abdurrahman won't be exaggerating by any standards in this video. The reality of football (and every other sport and movie actors) is that they have become a substitute religions for millions, and Muslims aren't immune. Safeguard your īmān. Know where your heart actually is.

Anyone who says that any of wives of any of the Prophets "dated/married down" has committed Kufr. This Kufr is known from the Din by necessity.

@dmontetheno1 Not saying the prophecy/prediction is completely ruled out, but it is definitely problematized by the variant readings in both غلبت and سيغلبون

There are such uncharitable takes on this prediction in Surah Ar-Rum within secular academia. For the sake of argument, let’s grant that the Qur’an is not divine. Based on probability alone, is it not possible that the Prophet ﷺ could have gotten at least one prediction correct?

@IbnalIskandar You are making a fundamental error. You treat Western heliocentric calculations as unquestioned truth, then judge the Prophetic method against it. In reality, the heliocentric model contradicts the Qur’an and Sunnah, so the criterion remains the latter, not modern astronomy.

Here's a photo of the new moon crescent sent to me by a reliable Muslim brother in Mexico. It was taken Thursday night on March 19th. Keep in mind that in the West, the moon appears later in its age as a new moon than in the East. The important pieces of information for estimating probability of sighting new moon crescents are: ~Date and time of the astronomical new moon ~Time of sunset ~Time of moonset ~% Illumination of the waxing crescent at the time of moonset ~Difference in time between moonset and sunset For Mexico, here is the relevant data: ~New moon: March 18th, 2026 at 7:23pm ~Moonset: 7:12pm ~Sunset: 7:16pm It wasn't possible to sight the new moon on Wednesday, March 18th in Mexico because the new moon didn't occur until after the moon had already set. For Kabul, Wednesday, March 18, 2026: ~New Moon: March 19, 5:52am The new moon didn't even occur in Kabul until right before sunrise March 19th, Thursday morning. IF a crescent was sighted in Afghanistan on Wednesday at any time during the day or night, it was definitely a waning crescent- which is before the new moon even occurs. It was astronomically and mathematically impossible to see a waxing new moon crescent in Mexico or Kabul on Wednesday night, March 18th, 2026. Still, Afghanistan declared Thursday to be Eid. This photo of the waxing new moon crescent on Thursday night, March 19th, 2026 is exactly how a new moon is expected to look when it is at the right age to sight it without astronomy equipment or optical aids. People need to stop playing Jahiliyyah games with the sacred months...

PSA (because I keep seeing the stupidest posts): There’s no such thing as a “second/third day moon” independent of an actual sighting. Of course the crescent will be thicker if it’s 50 hours old compared to 25 hours old. That’s literally how it works. Absolute clown behavior

@Sunnahakh1 There’s no daleel for the arrangement of the chapters of Sahih al-Bukhari. There’s no daleel for the arrangement and order of issues in Aqida Tahawiyya. See how absurd that sounds? That’s exactly how you sound rn
