thank you anon <3 it means a lot. i DO have another idea to write after, but i think i have to be a little more delicate about the subject matter/themes so i haven't figured out how i want to write it yet.

they put me on new birth control for pmdd and pmos and everything else going on with me and literally all it’s done is give me my period 2 weeks out of the month. anyway if anyone wants to switch endocrine systems i can give you some really cool diseases

#whaspoilers i personally think olruggio will burn out qifrey's silverwood because it seems like a natural close to his arc as well, but i do 100% think this is a good point/possible for other characters. there's enough silverwood hosts that i think there are multiple "cures"

i find any discourse about books vs fanfic draining because (selfishly, egotistically) i feel like everyone is wrong about it. i'll always advocate for everyone to read/study literature, especially in this climate, but tradpub specifically is evil, capitalist, and soulsucking.

when orufrey settle down post canon they'll adopt a dragon and treat it like a cat

@snackbones Qifrey said that he believes Coco's mother isn't conscious/aware. That she's lost in the dark simularly to when he trees. But if they are sentient, man those poor people and animals.

my theory i have no real evidence of is i think the silverwoods are actually sentient, which is why they function as they do as parasites and respond to human emotions. shirahama also cited the lotr films as a big influence for wha... which has that whole ent subplot

@hazeldrips love the added layers to vampfrey 👁️ (and the way beldaruit talks about the silverwoods too... he knows a little more than he lets on i feel)

@snackbones i fully agree with this!!! it’s definitely feels like it!! i included a hint of that in my vampfrey fic bc the idea of the silverwood being something that feeds off its host and others was really interesting…i love the parasite theory !!!!!

... and qifrey admiring olruggio - who is praised for his gift for magic - for his kindness and "sillier" doodles that are by and large considered "useless" by witch society. to be really seen and loved for it, etc...

i can't get over how olruggio is the perfect other half for qifrey and no other kind of person would make sense. olruggio being the classic "main character" of qifrey's story centering qifrey's wellbeing when qifrey and witch society has a poor view of him...

sometimes i worry i don't always write qifrey with that edge he has in canon and then i remember the first fic i wrote for this fandom was about him murdering child predators lol
