I brought home an old cat from the shelter who had lived with an elderly woman his whole life before she passed away at 93. He’s chosen to reside under my bed. A few times a day I lay on the floor and talk to him, sometimes he lets me pet him (while he’s deeply under the bed). Last night, he army-crawled out from under my bed right into my arms and rubbed his face all over me. This morning he did the same thing 😭💖

love when i have a gut feeling and i’m right. it’s not about being “right” perse it is about about believing myself as someone who don’t really know how to fully trust others + questions my own validity (due to years of growing up being gaslit + emotions/feeling being dismissed)
