@bwalsh Read Stephen Collins Article published at the time for the facts. It has been buried and ignored.

@bwalsh Sarah Carey leaked the list of Denis O Brians funders. Particularly a letter from Michael McDowell saying he would be drinking to Denis all over Christmas. It was transparency of funding she leaked.

It's amazing that Ossian Smyth's position isn't vulnerable because of the cyber attack. The responsible Minister seems to have done absolutely nothing to date in his portfolio. The Government is in place almost a year.

@dj_breathnach if you put a little time into formulating solutions and engaging with your TDs whatever party you may make a positive difference rather than just, sorry to use the word, but carping.

@snapmint You're sharing an article from last July when it was announced a further rise is basic salary in February. And even if they didn't get a pay rise - does that make evicting people in a pandemic, not paying student nurses or taxing PUP ok?

@dj_breathnach Yes TDs deserve decent pay but junior ministers did NOT take a pay rise that is just false.

@snapmint Facts you say? TDs pay is back at Celtic Tiger levels. That pay cut you shared was as a result of public backlash but they topped up their basic salaries all the while. google.com/amp/s/extra.ie…

@snapmint Well when someone on a Junior Ministry salary takes several pay rises in a pandemic but is happy to vote down payment for the student nurses I work with or to tax PUP it isn't just policy

@snapmint Europe is introducing vaccine passports. And digital driving licences? Bravo 👏. The man was a complete and utterly useless health spokesperson and the DPER is possibly the most regressive department in government. Pathetic to defend those as achievements 10 months in

4 days ago I asked pubs to consider a 6pm closing time. This was met with an angry reaction. Tomorrow, I will be considering emergency legislation. google.com/amp/s/amp.inde…

An emergency ‘national government’ has been formed in Belgium to tackle the Coronavirus. A national government has more than the minimum number of parties needed for a majority. Switzerland and Finland also have this. euobserver.com/tickers/147748

If you are not receiving pay due to a downturn in business from COVID-19, you can get an immediate payment for the next 6 weeks. This is available to employees and self-employed. There is a 1-page form: gov.ie/en/service/be7…

I believe we will be on total lock down sooner rather than later. Every 5 days we delay is likely a doubling of infected, and will be a doubling of those needing the ICU beds we are so short of, in 3-4 weeks. Taoiseach-you must lock down immediately.
