@Oh_HelloPatrick I’d prefer to just take him at 68 instead of getting cute and trying to get another pick too - I think the calculus changes when you have 2 picks in a round, use the higher pick to get the guy you absolutely gotta have and then use later pick as the trade asset

Delp is my guy at TE, there’s so much untapped potential - popped a lot during ‘24-25 season, thought he was going to declare and would’ve advocated for Eagles to draft him last year if so. Dunno if he lasts to end of round 3 so would be willing to take him w/ Jets pick at 68.
Jordan Reid@Jordan_Reid

#Georgia TE Oscar Delp, per multiple scouts in attendance: • HT: 6046 • WT: 245 • VJ: 38" • BJ: 10'0" • 40: 4.48 / 4.50 An impressive day for him.

Hurst popped when I researched WR, body+production profile projects real upside. Looks like mid-4.5 but otherwise reminds me of George Pickens. LOS release, short area quicks, ball in air adj, body control+contested catch, strong hands, now glowing Sr. Bowl reports. Early Day 3.
NFL Draft Files@NFL_DF

Ted Hurst was one of the most exciting players at the Senior Bowl, and the film more than backs it up Arguably the most dangerous vertical threat in the 2026 NFL Draft

1 for 3 w/ Zegras, but Michkov might ask for a trade if Tocchet is back. They’ll finish w/ 7-8th worst record and can luck into top 3 pick, but process is awful and so is their recent draft record. Bottom of the barrel organization, damage done will reverberate for years (again).
Dan@snaxonly

@letmebefrankbro Maybe we’ll finally get the bottom 3 finish and top 3 pick we deserve in an ideal draft for it to happen - that, Michkov 80+ points, and a bunch of cool Zegras highlights is all I’m asking for, I don’t think it’s so egregious

@FlyersNation If the Flyers had simply hired a group chat of rational, forward-thinking fans 5 years ago to engage in an honest rebuild, I truly believe the franchise would be on the upswing right now instead of spinning its wheels in purgatory for the 3rd time in a decade

@EaglesXsandOs @SAnderson2151 @g81ross Injuries aside, Carter was especially disappointing as a leader - the tone being set from literally right before the first snap. Jordan Davis took over the leadership role on DL and took that leap as a player too. Carter did not. Take 2026 to decide which one gets >$25M/season.

@EaglesXsandOs @SAnderson2151 @g81ross I’m in the minority, but after what we saw this past season, I’d try to entice Ojomo w/ a mid-market mini extension if he’s open, like 2y/$35M so he can still hit UFA at 27. Carter just had a lost season and should have 5th yr option exercised, now needs to prove himself again.

Wonder what Grizzard thinks of Cade Otton - Goedert-like receiver and well regarded blocker, not dynamic tho. Prob gets >$10M avg in FA, which doesn’t fit direction Eagles have signaled on O. Charlie Kolar more their archetype for value signing w/ upside as first-time starter imo
Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter

More help in Philadelphia: Eagles are hiring former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard as their pass game coordinator, per sources. Grizzard now will join new Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion to lead Philadelphia’s offense.

@NateT717 Haha yeah I’ve been shouting into the void here for well over a decade. I wish I was wrong about everything, but it was so easy to predict. Damn shame, Flyers lost an entire generation of fans who came of age over the last 15 years and made my rabid generation (‘95-10) apathetic.

@snaxonly You are one of the folks who has been a realist on the Flyers since as long as I can remember. The gaslighting and water carrying being done by bears and fanboys is NAUSEATING.

Old tweet search function sucks, but any even mildly smart person unaffiliated w/ Flyers knew this was a disaster immediately in Aug ‘21 when Couturier was extended into his late 30s w/ a NMC - and yes, it was obvious even BEFORE his back injury. Clear Rubicon of purgatory moment
Ferngully@afern_alex

3 more games would mark 1/3rd of a season since Sean Couturiers last goal. The #1 priority of this team next offseason imo is finding a team that will take him at half the cap and convincing him to waive. It’s time for a divorce here.

This entire presser should be shown in PR classes at communication schools nationwide as the ultimate case study of a total disaster scenario and what to expressly try to prevent against if you end up working in the profession

Wow. #Bills owner Terry Pegula says the coaching staff pushed to draft WR Keon Coleman and that was never GM Brandon Beane's top choice in that situation. "That was Brandon being a team player. ... He's taken heat over it. I'm here to tell you the true story." Wowza. I've never seen anything like this before... Coleman is still on the roster BTW.
