It still is my full time, although the audience has been decreasing massively across Star Wars Youtube for ALL creators since 2024. A mixture of shorts algo taking priority and because fans don’t trust Disney with Star Wars anymore and are looking for alternative stories in AI.

I've a routine of checking the top performing Star Wars vids of the week on YouTube. More and more it's AI nonsense. I really do think "Star Wars YouTube" as a big thing supporting many fulltime creators is mostly at an end. Was a fun run. Maybe to return upon the next trilogy lol.

It’s OK if Dave Filoni didn’t like Andor. It’s NBD - everyone has different tastes. He can appreciate it publicly and still not be the biggest fan. I know Star Wars Podcasters and Creators who publicly say they love everything and privately say they don’t. It’s not unusual.

During production on The Empire Strikes Back in England, producer Gary Kurtz ordered that the Millennium Falcon cockpit set be built with larger dimensions than it had been for A New Hope, with the intention of giving the actors more space. This was done without George Lucas's knowledge, and when he found out he was furious, because his specific intention had always been for the cockpit to be a cramped, intimate space forcing the characters together. But by that point the expensive set had already been built and it was too late. Lucas finally addressed the problem with the 2004 DVD release, by zooming in on all the cockpit shots.
