Something you'll learn about me is when i ask for art I always ask for the character to be facing the viewer... I find such artwork much more pleasant as a means of showing off the character than repeated butt shots

The whole "ps1 retro" trend in indie gaming bothers me greatly because it's obvious that the people behind it have a very surface level, downright memetic understanding of ps1 graphics... also it just looks like shit most of the time.

The early access trailer for Caves of Qud does such a great job portraying the atmosphere and mystique of its world, probably my favorite game trailer of all time. Such a shame then that the release trailer decided to instead focus on Reddit tier stories about silly deaths.
