🥺❤️
My first experience with Tarkov was years ago. I ran a raid and the raid didn’t go well at all. Pretty sure we died 4-5 mins into the raid. I was running with a 4 man. Game was stressful, I knew nothing about it, and I just felt overwhelmed.
Fast forward a few years down the road coming back and playing I reopened the game with maps on my other monitor trying to learn while learning other things like what ammo is better to run, armor, gun presets, etc. on top of what I needed for all of my tasks.
There were few girls in the category at that time but I wasn’t really knowledgeable to stream the game so I watched creators like Pestily and then a bit later I found Gingy. Pestily made super informative videos about how to learn and where you should start so I followed a few.
I’ve never played Arma but Tarkov was one of the games that I wanted to be decent at. I liked that no one could really just download this game and be amazing at it. The more time you spent, the better you got.
I also think it’s smart of how they did things, you had maps release every so many years. You had new items in game as well as wipes and pre wipe events to keep people invested. They kept the player base having something to look forward to IMO.
There were very few women creators I watched but now there’s so many amazing women I watch so much for example: @HONEYXXO_ @ballisticpicnic @RNGingy @meganjewells
Like I said, not to say Arma, Squad, etc.. aren’t represented by females as well but this is just the first game I was exposed to. I hated it at first but when I actually gave it a shot my want to get better, live in raid, and be able to look along with collect gear was my determination lol
I do like the idea of being able to drag your teammates to cover, though. I wish Tarkov implemented that and would play with the idea of defibs.
I’m excited to see what happens with the game. I’m blessed to have met amazing women in this space especially since there were few in the beginning. 🫶🏽

@_Meg_Lemon_ @Nillers_ I'd agree to that. If I was a game dev. I would draw parallel with EFT consulting creators like @RNGingy or @MsDynamic_ (hi) to see what made Escape from Tarkov an attractive game for women gamers vs other tactical shooters that are lagging behind and take lessons from it.
