@DumbasseryLol @mossiyr The reason we’re not sending samples is because our mousepad is a limited drop and not soo many of them could be made only 500. We would do sample campaigns in the future and will ship out mousepads for test/feedback.

@Adam69135 As we said our surface is harder than others so if you would lift up the mouse and take a picture the mousepad would look like the picture which was posted. The image in the example our mousepad was forcibly bent with a string which is edited out in post production.

@Aireyfps The reason we can only make 500 of them is because of the material that is used to make the mousepad with. And also our surface is a lot different from other cloth mousepads. Also we will let you know that 30% of our collection is already sold.

@Device_KIDKUN Our mousepads are firmer from other cloth mousepads, it’s because of the built of the mousepads. Also this picture was sent from one of our customers and the reason it’s not bending is because it’s held up on an angle and it’s taken like that on purpose.

I’d be interested in checking it out, but just so we’re clear, sending me a sample doesn’t guarantee a positive review. If I think the pad isn’t good or doesn’t justify the $150 price tag, I’m going to say that. I do in-depth reviews after actually putting time on a product, not first impressions after a day or two. I’m also not interested in misleading people or softening criticism to keep companies happy. If the product’s good, I’ll say that too.

Hmm the timing might be insane, but the MOMENT Raijin gear gets canceled, a new brand @snvgear emerges… Selling a $150 CLOTH pad, using all the cheapest materials possible, potentially an OEM surface and marketing it as “premium”, ironically both accounts are based in Macedonia which is an EXTREMELY niche country for peripherals.

⚠️ Community Warning Regarding Raijin Gear ⚠️ After looking into Raijin Gear and their social media presence @raijingearco, there are multiple red flags the community should be aware of before purchasing. Before I write this up, I want to be transparent with everyone: I can compile all the observable red flags from the website into a public warning post, but I want to make sure the document is framed accurately. These are all suspicions and red flags rather than proven facts. Some concerns people have pointed out: • Their branding/logo appears heavily inspired by Kurosun • Several promotional images appear AI-edited or manipulated onto existing setup photos instead of showing authentic product photography. For example, altering @Aspen_OW's photo with the new Wallhack Ghost in the Shell with their product instead. • There are concerns about the legitimacy of some reviews and promotional engagement surrounding the brand. • 52 reviews, all 4–5 stars, many with suspiciously generic first names only (Petar, Tyler, Daniel, Sofia, Ethan) and zero critical reviews. Usually, a classic sign of fake/incentivized reviews. • Their Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook were all created very recently. No real community engagement, no unboxings from real buyers, no third-party reviews anywhere on the internet. • A Reddit user recently claimed their personal setup photo may have been reused and AI-edited with a Raijin pad added into the image. reddit.com/r/setups/comme… •The cart and local default is to the UK despite claiming to be a US brand. This suggests either a UK-based dropshipper or an overseas operation. Brands like Artisan, Pulsar, Xtrfy, and Kurosun have YEARS of community presence, independent reviews, verified buyers, and transparent founders. Raijin has none of that. Always do your research before buying from newer brands: • Look for real customer photos • Look for independent reviews • Reverse image search product photos • Check whether branding/artwork is original • Be cautious of AI-generated marketing and fake engagement The peripheral community should support originality, transparency, and authentic creators — not copied branding and misleading marketing.

Has anyone actually reviewed this yet? Have you sent samples out to reviewers or testers? I haven’t seen a single real performance impression anywhere, so right now people are just being asked to trust the marketing and the price tag. How are we supposed to know this thing even performs well? Who designed the artwork? Can you name the artist? What manufacturer are you using? Have you released mousepads before, and if you have, what were they? If this is your first one, what kind of R&D or testing did you actually do before deciding it was worth charging $150? These are pretty basic questions for a product at this price point, and the fact nobody seems to be getting clear answers is what makes the whole thing feel sketchy.

You still haven’t given any actual reason this costs $150. People keep asking and you keep dodging it with vague marketing language instead of real information. At some point you have to explain what makes a 490 x 420 cloth mousepad worth more than a lot of actual peripherals. Right now it just looks wildly overpriced for what it is. It’s a cloth pad and a box. No extras, no real breakdown of materials or production costs, nothing that explains how you landed at this price without just assuming people will pay it because it’s limited or hyped. Unless this thing is woven from gold thread and blessed by woodland spirits, I genuinely don’t see how you justify charging $150 for it.
