⚠️ Community Warning Regarding Raijin Gear ⚠️ After looking into Raijin Gear and their social media presence @raijingearco, there are multiple red flags the community should be aware of before purchasing. Before I write this up, I want to be transparent with everyone: I can compile all the observable red flags from the website into a public warning post, but I want to make sure the document is framed accurately. These are all suspicions and red flags rather than proven facts. Some concerns people have pointed out: • Their branding/logo appears heavily inspired by Kurosun • Several promotional images appear AI-edited or manipulated onto existing setup photos instead of showing authentic product photography. For example, altering @Aspen_OW's photo with the new Wallhack Ghost in the Shell with their product instead. • There are concerns about the legitimacy of some reviews and promotional engagement surrounding the brand. • 52 reviews, all 4–5 stars, many with suspiciously generic first names only (Petar, Tyler, Daniel, Sofia, Ethan) and zero critical reviews. Usually, a classic sign of fake/incentivized reviews. • Their Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook were all created very recently. No real community engagement, no unboxings from real buyers, no third-party reviews anywhere on the internet. • A Reddit user recently claimed their personal setup photo may have been reused and AI-edited with a Raijin pad added into the image. reddit.com/r/setups/comme… •The cart and local default is to the UK despite claiming to be a US brand. This suggests either a UK-based dropshipper or an overseas operation. Brands like Artisan, Pulsar, Xtrfy, and Kurosun have YEARS of community presence, independent reviews, verified buyers, and transparent founders. Raijin has none of that. Always do your research before buying from newer brands: • Look for real customer photos • Look for independent reviews • Reverse image search product photos • Check whether branding/artwork is original • Be cautious of AI-generated marketing and fake engagement The peripheral community should support originality, transparency, and authentic creators — not copied branding and misleading marketing.
