not to defend That Administration but hydrogen peroxide is not toxic or scary, it’s H2O2. It’s water with an extra molecule. It kills pathogens, like I use this in my houseplant soil to kill off fungus gnats. it’s perfectly safe. just dont drink the reflection pool

Agreed… my point is that in an algae bloom cause by summer sun, excess ammonia and so on 20-50 gallons can shock the water body temporarily, while they work out a more long term solution…. My issue is people commenting saying that they are killing the birds etc… cause thats just literally not true

It reopened August 31, 2012. Algae issues returned within weeks, requiring extra cleaning.

Managed a large outdoor pool in college, including testing. And an in ground pool when married. I know the science of pool chemistry…these guys do not.
