Carrier Assault (Now Carrier Strike) was some of the most fun I've had in BF4: Naval Assault, and I'm glad to see it back, hopefully permanently. There are still a lot of rough patches in BF6 that I think need to be addressed. Not really everyone's favorite topic, but movement is one of those. Movement has always been an integral part of any FPS, and I think Battlefield has lost its identity over the past few titles. As well as the weapon feel. I think that, across all the Battlefield titles I've played, BF4 overall had the most balanced movement, not including the RouZou, VouZou, and ZouZou, Mario Jump shenanigans. I'm specifically talking about simple movement tech (Yes, tech, not an exploit. Everyone can learn it in less than five minutes, so no excuses), such as keeping your momentum during combat to disengage from and engage in fights more efficiently, I prefer tap-strafing over sliding. Pair that with BF4's snappy, responsive gunplay, rather than the overly restrictive feel of BF6, and the game simply felt better to play. All you had to do was sprint, jump, let go of your movement keys during the apex of your jump, and you had it down, overall a higher skill ceiling but not too difficult to master. And since we're on the topic of what was superior in BF4 compared to BF6, I also want to mention the buttery-smooth, feather-light weapon feel while in motion. BF6's momentum and movement feel very sluggish, like you've been reduced to nothing more than an elephant in a porcelain shop, slow, sluggish, and linear, a cap on the ceiling basically. If we can address those issues as a start, I'll definitely invest more time into it again. @BattlefieldComm #Battlefield #Feedback
