Can’t help but think that Tanya and Jim split because the fame has got to her head. She used to seem so in love with him, but recently she’s all about self and her ‘acting.’ She used to be a role model, now hardly anyone can relate.

A head to toe check of Preston Davey would’ve shown the injuries and abnormalities. Why was that not done? It’s been done at every one of my health visitor appointments with my child

Why wasn’t Preston’s grandmother allowed to care for him and given support in her own home until her health improved? Wrong on so many levels.

Gay men who adopt babies usually get away with raping and torturing them because they will call any inquiry or suspicion homophobia and stop it in its tracks. Not sure how exactly we got to a point where gay men steal our infants and rape them to death with government approval, but I do know any system where that is the norm is so far gone it can only be fully overthrown.

@SheilaMarieF This is correct. However, don’t forget some gay people were trying to get paedophilia as part of the LGBTQ community. They are also more likely to offend, both being men, the chance of them offending is higher

It shouldn't need saying but Preston Davey was not at risk because his adoptive parents are gay. He was at risk, horrifically abused, and murdered because his adoptive parents are paedophiles.

Boss of children's services at council which missed a string of chances to save murdered baby Preston Davey received a £23,000 golden goodbye after ending time there 'on such a high. The more that emerges about the horrific murder of 13-month-old Preston Davey, the more disturbing the questions become. It has now emerged that Gerard Jones, the head of children’s services responsible for overseeing Preston’s fostering arrangements, received a £23,000 golden goodbye when he left Oldham Council in October 2024. What a bloody disgrace and how does he sleep at night knowing he was in charge while this travesty happened, and how the fuck does he have the guile to take a bloody bonus. Yet investigators have identified at least eight separate opportunities where intervention could have saved Preston’s life. Serious questions are now being asked of both Oldham Council and Blackpool Victoria Hospital. Preston was admitted to hospital three times, including once with a broken elbow, but the warning signs appear to have been repeatedly missed. Gerard Jones, 68, ended his five-year tenure as Oldham Council’s managing director of children’s services saying he felt “blessed to end my time in Oldham on such a high.” Just 15 months earlier, on July 27, 2023, Preston had been sexually abused and murdered by Jamie Varley, 37, a secondary school head of year. A court heard the little boy endured a litany of psychological and sexual abuse before his death. Varley’s partner, sales executive John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, was found to have turned a blind eye to the abuse and even participated in one incident himself. Oldham Council had responsibility for Preston’s care because his mother, Sarah Davey, 42, is from the town. Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley were approved as prospective adoptive parents through Adoption Now, an agency jointly owned by councils across the North West, after undergoing two years of preparation and assessment. Preston was placed with them at the end of March 2023. A beautiful little boy lost his life. The public deserve answers about how so many warning signs were missed, why multiple opportunities to intervene failed, and whether lessons have truly been learned to prevent another tragedy like this from ever happening again.

@JudeMcKew @lisareality1 Which was not the grandmothers fault. People do bad stuff all the time and it’s not the parents fault. She was raising her granddaughter, but she has cancer, so she was not allowed another dependant.

#PrestonDavey would have been four years old. Had he of stayed safe and nurtured, he would have been blowing out candles, maybe having a birthday party, enjoying his presents. He would be starting school in September. Because of the system, he will not experience that.

A village of people let down #PrestonDavey and the UK government needs to set stricter adoption processes and review safeguarding measures. As for the social workers, they need investigating and retraining at the least.

Imagine one minute you’re safe, loved and nurtured in a decent routine and settled with foster parents. The next, you’re ripped away to a same sex couple where you lose all sense of safety. You start to realise you will only survive by appeasing them, being silent-

I can’t bear that footage of beautiful Preston Davey being woken and forcing a smile after that monster shouted ‘boo’ at him. The immediate distress is just heart rending. A snapshot at what was likely horrifying uncertainty in that baby’s existence.

I think the case of Baby Preston needs to be remembered as a force to incite change. The change we were promised with Baby P, but never received. Social workers have blood on their hands.

@DollyDa10106663 @DivineBiba @d2leeds @kelvmackenzie You are correct, but her mother, his grandmother, was already raising one of his siblings and wanted to raise Preston but wasn’t allowed as she has cancer. The foster mum protested against this couple stating it felt odd and rushed

@DivineBiba @d2leeds @kelvmackenzie They are disgusting human beings. His mother however was a murderer who killed an elderly lady when she was 14 and showed no remorse. She was recalled to prison several times because she did not keep the conditions associated with her parole.

A gay couple, one a teacher and the other a salesman, who were allowed to adopt a baby boy were today convicted at Preston Crown court of the murder and mutiple sexual assaults of the 11-month-old- child. These vile human beings will, I trust, face their own lifetime of torture in jail.
