As I left ground today, 2 Everton fans walked past and said ‘this is not like the Chelsea we’ve known, there was no battle to get back into the game’. Enough said …
@MarkOsborne1978@AlexReviewsGigs No he missed closed for business! Played 13 in Manchester and we had 11 in Leeds, he didn't play being a girl and fool
A slightly frustrating evening with Paul Draper at Leeds Brudenell. Whilst the Mansun classics retained some of the magic, the promised set of all fourteen of his ex-band's hits shrank to a meagre eleven with a needless twenty minute intermission and recorded for a live album.
The cry-arsing amongst certain sections of our fan base over the stadium is genuinely pathetic.
Apart from the toilets I have absolutely zero complaints. Left Shenanigans at 7.28pm…was in my seat for Z Cars. What are you all doing?
@mintisculture I was there, aged 16, in a yellow top, it was a boiling hot day and I never thought 30 years later we'd have won nothing since the cup in 95
It’s summer, 1996, and a snapshot of celebrations in the Gwladys Street v Newcastle Utd.
Evertonians endorsing the yellow (a) shirt. Spot yourself? Love this. How time flies - 30 yrs on.
Up the retro before it was retro Toffees
My lad’s in the lounge today for one of his birthday presents, and he’s like a pig in shite. All this “sold our soul” bollocks is nonsense. Play well and the atmosphere takes care of itself, same as it always did at Goodison. We will be blaming the Mersey having brown water next
Don’t know who the fuck people think they are booing the team off the pitch, we’re not the blue shite, entitled spoilt brats who don’t know how to support the team when things aren’t going well
@kevpar23@talkSPORT You get more practice as a GK in a relegation scrap, reality is Pickford doesn't make those saves then Everton go down for first time in 70 years and people lose jobs, that's pressure
@talkSPORT To be top tier players have to play top level. Pickford has very few high level club games. No doubt a good keeper but top level, champions league and prem title pressure and the ability to play with that pressure defines players as top tier. Relegation scraps are different.
@RenoirVulture You are entitled to your view, that's fine, but the overall sentiment is you are in the minority % and I wonder how much paying £200 for club view left a sour taste
Offended a lot of Everton fans by not liking their new stadium but it’s very relevant to make comparisons to Anfield! I’ve been to over 250 grounds so very qualified to have an opinion. And the atmosphere wasn’t great but I’m spoilt by Elland Road #lufc#everton#92club
@WokeratiAndrew@MarkMt1878@Jsize18 It's not, I used to like anfield but the new stands make it look wonky and no real design character, the joins with the other stands look awful, big but designed to pack in the tourists
Very sad what happened tbh. Got it completely wrong with the new ground, clubs like Everton and Tottenham smashed it. Boleyn was always a proper footy stadium
@LeeFMc83 It's an incredible stadium. Problem is that much like Wembley, Emirates, Etihad, TH and Olympic stadiums, it's a soulless bowl with no atmosphere. Which is not the fault of any of the fans of the teams that play in those stadiums, it's just the way they are built.
The jealousy from them lot over our new stadium is beautiful. Every other fan base recognising how incredible it is.
They’re absolutely fuming and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
