Munich visit: staff and students have departed Munich and are making their way to Salzburg for a tour of the Eagles nest. Some beautiful views of the route so far! @RegentsParkCC

Munich visit: all students and staff have enjoyed a lovely meal at a local Italian restaurant this evening. All suitably fed and watered. Now we are back at the hotel ready to turn in for the night as it’s been a long day!

Did someone say tier three vocabulary? @KateJones_teach idea of keyword spotlight grids have been well utilised in our history curriculum! A super example from year 10!

Year 10 had an amazing time at @unisouthampton today. They got to use some of the latest geographical technology and spend some time learning about latest developments.

@misscs_teach Just interested…does your school make students choose history or geography? Or are they free to not pick either?

Seeing an interesting/partially worrying trend with Year 9 taking History as an options subject this year. Interested to see if this is reflected nationally?

Proud to support Safer Internet Day @IctRpcc - year 10 had a discussion about online scams and linked it to the history of Hitler’s rise to power and how he “scammed” the Reichstag to pass the Enabling Law!

Bringing geography to life with cake! This time it was Miss Baillie’s year 7s who used cake to discover the process of erosion! Miss Gilbert-Twigg’s year 9s came into judge the best overall images!

7GX had an interactive lesson today involving cake to show the process of erosion! A great way to see the changes! Well done to Miss Gilbert-Twigg for bringing this process to life in such an engaging way!

80 years ago today the Allied forces liberated a camp called Auschwitz. A name that didn’t mean much until they entered the gates & were faced with some truly horrific sights. Today it is a memorial to the suffering & loss that took place behind those gates. Never forget #HMD2025
