The air quality wasn’t great for our quarterly Water Quality Sampling at the @vcrlter yesterday, but there were some pretty stellar crews out on the bays!

Is has been a busy research summer so far at the @vcrlter! With annual fish sampling and seagrass surveying completed, we now have time to focus on individual grad student projects throughout the lagoons, marshes, islands, and forests @uvaevsc #zosteramarina

The past week was full of annual @vcrlter SET, RSET, and Marker Horizon sampling in the lovely Brownsville marsh. The SETs were installed in 1997 and the RSETs in 2003 along the creek bank and in the low, mid, and high marsh.
