My god people if I wanted to give my friends awards I would have them over for Christmas dinner. I wouldn’t spend months out of my life to do it. Notice how NONE of the streamers nominated are upset. THEY ARE EXCITED OR FLATTERED. It’s people fighting battles no one asked you to fight that are upset. I love that you care I really really do but it’s exhausting. This is the last time I’ll speak on it. Excited for the show this year. Excited to see so many new faces. Excited to spend 1 night highlighting the industry.

I’m going to say this one more time. The Streamer Awards is about bringing everyone together to cultivate more positivity. If you choose to spend your time in rhetoric of negativity “they didn’t deserve the nomination” “they’re going to lose” etc Don’t watch the show it’s not for you.

a reminder that you’re allowed to show empathy and mourn someone who was once a big part of your life years ago but isn’t anymore. that’s human. and you can also feel sad but also think of and respect victims of someone’s actions. you can feel both at the same time.
