Intentionally killing a child, kidnapping and raping can never be justified because you’re mad that 75 years ago a country was born on land you say is yours.

Maybe my parents can tell you how much fun it was when they made so-called Aaliyah from Baghdad with £50 and the clothes on their back. Do you think they had fun doing that? But they made the best of it and didn’t steal any land in the process either. It’s called migration and by the way it was legal, and by the way, the land they lived on wasn’t owned by any Palestinian before that and by the way, they weren’t even arabs called Palestinians until the 1960s so what’s going on with your talking points?

Cornell University Votes to Sever Ties with Israeli Technion: "Responsibility for Genocide" At the end of a meeting of the student council at New York's Cornell, the participants supported ending collaboration on a technological project with the Israeli entity. The Jewish university president, who will decide whether to implement the decision, left to boos. At the same time, at a pro-Iranian demonstration in Manhattan, participants praised the October 7 massacre: "The Zionists are parasites" The student council of the prestigious Cornell University in New York voted yesterday (Friday) to sever the institution's partnership with the Technion, and to boycott Israeli public figures, politicians and lecturers. The decisions were made at the end of a charged meeting in which students from the audience interrupted the remarks of the university's Jewish president, Prof. Michael Kotlikoff, booed him and asked, "What about responsibility for genocide?" until he was forced to leave the hall. The main resolution passed yesterday calls on the university to end its partnership with the Technion in the Cornell-Tech campus project on Roosevelt Island in New York, citing the Israeli body's involvement in human rights violations and the explicit accusation of genocide by Israel in the Iron Sword War. The text of the resolution stated that "a partnership with an institution involved in the development of military technologies and surveillance infrastructure is inconsistent with Cornell's stated values."

Iran is ready to talk about ending the war only under two conditions. Tehran demands reparations from the USA for the damage and the withdrawal of American bases from the Persian Gulf. This was stated by the representative of the Iranian authorities, Mohsen Rezaei: "The end of the war is in our hands. We will consider the issue of ending the war only when, firstly, we receive full compensation for all our losses from the United States, and, secondly, we get a 100% guarantee for the future, which is impossible without the withdrawal of the USA from the Persian Gulf."

🚨 David Sacks Says the Risks of Continued Escalation in Iran Could Be ‘Catastrophic’ “Israel is getting hit harder than they've ever been hit before in their history, and we're only two weeks into this … If this war continues for weeks or months, then Israel could just be destroyed or very large parts of it … Then you have to worry about Israel escalating the war by contemplating using a nuclear weapon, which would truly be catastrophic.”

Calling someone a “lunatic” or a “traitor” isn’t an argument it’s an attempt to avoid one. Disagree with Tucker Carlson all you want, but asking hard questions is not treason, and debate is not sabotage. If a country, a party, or an administration can’t withstand questioning, then the problem isn’t the questions it’s the fragility of what’s being defended. A free society depends on scrutiny, not loyalty tests. Shutting down dialogue in the name of unity is how trust erodes, not how it’s preserved.

@afalkhatib delegitimizing Israel’s right to exist by denying all historical evidence of its existence as a Jewish homeland isn’t ok. It’s not just biblical fantasy, it’s actually and continuous life in that region by Jews that Arab colonizers and their supporters seek to deny as real.

While it is easy to dismiss Tucker Carlson’s ignorance and intent for how he engages on the issue of Israel and Palestine, his recent interview with US Ambassador Mike Huckabee did reveal something worth consideration and contemplation. That a senior US official holding the post of Ambassador to a strategic ally like Israel in an inflamed and intense time in the region would share such an abundance of personal views while in his official capacity is a real cause for concern. Ambassador Huckabee cherishes a particular branch of Christianity that identifies with modern-day Zionism, and that is entirely within his personal right and prerogative. Still, the United States’ ethos has long been about foreign policy, which is not based on theology or religion but is singularly focused on America’s interests worldwide to maximize alliances, attract friends and supporters, and navigate messy conflicts. Some of Ambassador Huckabee’s statements appeared to be inconsistent with this long-established principle, prompting backlash from most Arab countries, including US allies such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, and Kuwait. The idea that biblical theology can serve as the basis for contemporary US foreign policy is indeed inappropriate, given the complex geopolitical landscape that requires tact, finesse, and skilled statecraft and diplomacy. Ambassador Huckabee did not make statements that were consistent with President Trump’s own proclamations, including the right for Palestinians to continue to reside in the West Bank, despite Israeli fanatics seeking to undermine modern-day borders of the nation-state on the basis of biblical theology. Furthermore, some elements of the Christian Zionist community have been viewed with immense suspicion and frustration by Palestinians, Muslims, and Arab nations because they have lent their support to extremist Jewish settlers in the West Bank, and those engaging in violence and the discourse of erasure when it comes to the Palestinians. Jewish belonging and heritage, as well as the right of Israelis to safety and security, should be discussed in a radically pragmatic framework that does not unnecessarily invoke religious text, theological doctrine, or notions of superiority on the basis of religion based on “god’s choice.” Instead, the focus should be on modern-day principles of sovereignty, international law and norms, mutual recognition and accountability, as well as the core principle that Israel’s existence and safety are not inherently at odds with the rights of Palestinians to freedom and self-determination. I hope that moving forward, US officials, whether they be part of the current or future administrations, can truly place the ethos, principles, and interests of the United States first and foremost, before sharing views and opinions in their official capacity that could undermine the prospects of diplomatic resolutions and relationships necessary to solve such intractable conflicts.

When I sat down with Tucker Carlson on Wednesday, I was expecting a thoughtful conversation and that he would ask questions and give me the opportunity to actually respond--just like he did with the little Nazi sympathizer Nick Fuentes or the guy who thought Hitler was the good guy and Churchill the bad guy. What I wasn't anticipating was a lengthy series of questions where he seemed to be insinuating that the Jews of today aren't really same people as the Jews of the Bible. I'll first just say something I didn't think to say to Tucker, which is that Ashkenazi Jews, meaning those who families had spent centuries in Europe, are a minority of Israel's Jewish population, only maybe 35-40%. There are far more Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews inside Israel. But there's a good reason, as it turns out, that I had never encountered this theory that Tucker kept pushing on. That’s because it comes from some of the darkest realms of the Internet and social media. I think it's important to take a moment now and educate Tucker and anyone else who might get sucked in by this dangerous conspiracy theory, just as I have been educated this week. I'm sharing this information because it has been weaponized by very bad people to delegitimize Jews and strip them of their history. It's an idea that gained traction in the 80's and 90's with David Duke and other Klansmen and neo-Nazis. It has really caught fire in recent years on the Internet and social media, mostly from some of the most overt anti-Semites and Jew haters you can find. I don’t know why Tucker was so fixated on this, and I'm certainly not saying he knew the origins of this conspiracy theory. I don't know what's in his heart or what he was thinking. But I do know that the discredited idea that most Ashkenazi or European Jews descended from the ancient Turkic kingdom of Khazaria is bunk. It's also been weaponized by people trying to deligitimize Jews, to strip them of their history, and to call them "imposters" or "fake Jews." This odious conspiracy theory is peddled by the likes of Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes and by people who love David Duke, as well as Islamist accounts that make up false smears about Israel non-stop and are run out of countries like Pakistan and Turkey. But we know from genetics and rich volumes of written literature that the Jews of today can trace their lineage back thousands of years to the Israel and the Jewish people of the Bible. They are as connected together as genetics tell us that the ancient Khazar kingdom is to people living today in Turkey. And if Tucker wants to tour more than Ben-Gurion Airport on his next trip to Israel, I'm happy to show him places where Jews have lived going back to the time of Jesus Christ and even earlier. I sincerely hope Tucker will let me know when he actually wants to learn facts about the land and people. Asking me about conspiracy theories should remain on the fringes and not be the heart of the conversation.
