In recent days, a disturbing case has gained widespread attention online: a Japanese man publicly described experiences suggestive of involvement in child prostitution in Jakarta. On the night of August 15, 2025, Indonesian police reportedly raided his hotel room; however, he was subsequently released without charges and permitted to leave the country. Although the man has denied that the individuals involved were minors, he has continued to post photographs, including images of children’s sandals, and other content that has raised serious concerns and suspicions regarding the possible sexual exploitation of children.
