Sabak 1973 Mukesh , Usha Khanna, Sawan Kumar Tak Due to a real-life romance and subsequent breakup, Shatrughan Sinha initially refused to shoot the song with Poonam Sinha. As a result, the director filmed the track with actors Abhijeet and Jayshree T. When the song became a massive hit, Sinha agreed to shoot his parts, resulting in the final film featuring a mix of both couples. It is the only film in which Shatru and Poonam were romantically paired prior to their real-life marriage in 1980. The movie marked the first film where Saawan Kumar Tak worked as a lyricist. This began his successful association with music director Usha Khanna.
