And ideas will flow more when “regulars” get together once trust has been built... but discussion will be more guarded if any “new” people turn up. I know growers who discuss things with me that they won’t discuss with people they see regularly... is about trust

I think that people can meet in the pub to share their stories experiences at a level of disclosure they choose without needing an IP agreement 👍

Even growers don't want to share all they have learnt & researchers/agribusiness will be even more cautious. Cases of "stolen" R&D ideas are not uncommon. TRUST will be critical & hard won

Was involved with something similar several years ago. 5+ groups of farmers ➡️ only 3 interested to share openly & took >18 mths to get to point where openly sharing.
