Ahmed Uthman Muhammad, former House of Representatives aspirant for Yola-North/Yola-South/ Girei Federal Consistency has debunked allegation against his arrest by the Department of Security Service (DSS) over N460 Million Katsina State Government Hajj Forex Fraud.
Muhammad issued this in a statement on Tuesday following false reports by some media outlets that he was reportedly arrested by a security operative over the alleged fraud.
He said he was not being arrested but rather invited by the Police for questioning regarding a personal matter which he was cleared and released on the same day.
"I was never in DSS Custody and Not under investigation but rather invited by the Police for questioning regarding a personal matter which I was cleared and released on the same day.
"I want to draw the attention of the general public to understand that the reports circulating is a false information perbricated against me because of politics and other selfish reasons aimed to destroy my career", he said.
Muhammad said he is currently with his family and friends. Therefore, there is no cause for alerm as he is doing his normal business as usual.

His own son conspired to kidnap him, twice.
This story is more than a crime. It is a betrayal that is hard to imagine.
Alhaji Rabo Jelani, an elderly man, was abducted. The kidnappers were not strangers, but a group that included his own son, Yusuf Rabo, and his grandson, Ali Haruna, who is accused of supplying one of the AK-47 rifles used.
His own family targeted him for ransom because of his wealth and livestock. They collected ₦2,000,000 in the first abduction and ₦4,500,000 in the second.
He was kidnapped twice by the very people who should have protected him.
The Nigeria Police Force acted quickly. They arrested Yusuf Rabo and Musa Adamu, and recovered one AK-47 rifle.
Ali Haruna, the grandson accused of supplying the weapon, is still at large.
Police are actively searching for him. The group is also linked to the kidnapping of a trader named Mr. Iyke and an armed robbery along the Kagoma axis.
Alhaji Rabo Jelani was betrayed by those closest to him.
The Nigeria Police Force has stepped in where the family failed. Justice will be served.

NPF ARRESTS SON, ACCOMPLICE OVER KIDNAP OF FATHER, RECOVERS AK-47 RIFLE The Nigeria Police Force has recorded another operational breakthrough with the arrest of two suspects involved in a case of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, armed robbery, and unlawful possession of firearms linked to a violent syndicate operating within Kaduna State and adjoining communities. The suspects in custody, Yusuf Rabo and Musa Adamu, were arrested following investigations into the abduction of Alhaji Rabo Jelani. Investigations revealed that Yusuf Rabo conspired with Musa Adamu and Ali Haruna, the victim’s grandson who is currently at large, to abduct the elderly victim for ransom over claims that he possessed substantial wealth and livestock. Further investigations established that the syndicate procured and deployed multiple AK-47 rifles for their operations, with Ali Haruna allegedly supplying one of the firearms belonging to his father, while additional weapons were sourced by other members of the gang. One AK-47 rifle with an empty magazine was recovered during the operation. Findings revealed that the victim was abducted on separate occasions and taken to forest locations where ransom negotiations were coordinated by Yusuf Rabo himself. The first abduction reportedly yielded a ransom payment of Two Million Naira (₦2,000,000), while a subsequent operation generated Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦4,500,000). The syndicate has also been linked to other violent crimes within the area, including the kidnapping of a trader identified as Mr. Iyke and an armed robbery attack along the Kagoma axis during which commuters were dispossessed of cash and valuables. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspect, Ali Haruna, and recover additional weapons and exhibits connected to the crimes. The Nigeria Police Force remains resolute in dismantling kidnapping and armed robbery networks across the country and assures members of the public of sustained intelligence-led operations against violent criminal groups. All these because of what they called Rubbish in the name of primaries that enforced the Gov's candidates over other aspirants, and vowed to take legal action. The real "Shegiyar Uwa" isn't PDP, but APC for real.😂

My cousin, Abdurrazak, named his first child after my older brother, Muslim (pictured below). He was a soldier and retired a few years ago. He fought battles in and outside Nigeria. As he recently told me, he lost friends, some of whom were right beside him in the trenches in Nigeria, Liberia, etc.
My cousin's two sons, Muslim and Bilal, also joined the Nigerian Army. Every Friday, Muslim would send me Jumu'at Mubarak message. However, this week, he asked to speak with me on Wednesday. I told him that Wednesday is my busiest day of the week. So, we agreed to exchange texts and voice notes.
We discussed family issues extensively—for the first time. I didn't know it would also be the last!
He told me yesterday (Thursday) that he was tired as he had just returned from a patrol, pursuing bandits who were on more than 50 motorbikes. But they couldn't reach them. I prayed for their success next time. Unfortunately, he wasn't lucky. He was killed in combat today (Friday)!
Wallahi I cannot remember being more shocked and sad. Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilaihi raaji'un!
