As @_HannahRitchie says, focusing on either energy or food is a false dichotomy. We have to focus on both. While people can have an impact in the way they consume (plant-based, food waste, smarter packaging), change has to also come from the business sector.

Important data right here. While fossil fuels might be the bigger offender in terms of GHGs, emissions from food still make up a large part of the planet's footprint.
