@JohnPeterson49 Sorry - didn't see this part of the thread. I have used several KCX017 for a few years, but have not seen this failure. Did you get yours from us - we'll replace it. I've stepped on my own several times!

@solarbotics could the kcx 017 itself destroy the BC negotiation. It is flimsy and barely fits the USB port itself is have broken. What is to say it cannot function properly with the amp negotiation. That why it's always 500 or 1500 and nothing in between

@solarbotics do you know how to always get full power from a sun panel. I always get triggered to a fixed low rate like the dreaded 500 milliamps. I have never seen it continuous and spectrum Paris spectrum a spectrum sian-louise a spectrum
