One of the most meaningful parts of working at @Meta Superintelligence Labs is using the technology our teams are building in deeply personal ways. I’ve been restoring my family’s photos from the 1930s and 1940s with Muse Image in Meta AI, and the results have blown me away. Photo restoration is difficult. Many models subtly change faces, identities, or compositions. Muse has been remarkably good at preserving the people and character of the original image while restoring damage and detail. Another thing that stands out is the output quality. Muse can generate restorations at up to 12K resolution and 300 DPI, making them suitable not just for sharing online but for archival-quality prints as well. Seeing nearly 100-year-old family memories come back to life has been incredibly emotional—and a powerful reminder of what AI can do when it’s used to preserve, not just create. Views are my own

Creativity is polarizing. Creative pros just crowned @reve 2.1 the best landscape model and the worst product model in the same tournament. We ran it blind against @BytePlusGlobal's Seedream 5.0 Pro, @MicrosoftAI's MAI Image 2.5, and @OpenAI's ChatGPT Images 2.0 on 10 real client briefs. It either won the table or got eliminated first. Almost nothing in between.

We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back). We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.

We mostly thought Town would be used by people who spend all day bouncing between email, calendar, docs and meetings. One user segment we did not expect is healthcare scheduling coordinators. These are people with job titles like nursing assistants or elderly care coordinators. Or simply busy family members who are responsible for the care of a loved one. More broadly, people helping manage patients with different medication schedules, doctor appointments, reminders, follow ups, all of it. I had no idea this job existed in the form it does until they became Town users. But when you zoom out, it makes sense. They are doing the same basic workflow as a recruiter or a business owner. Take in information, route it to the right people, follow up, make sure nothing falls through. And when it's someone else's life, nothing can fall through! We did not design for this. They found us. And now they are teaching us things about Town that we probably would not have figured out by only building for ourselves. That is one of the best parts of building a horizontal product. Sometimes the best product signal comes from a persona you did not know existed.
