I wish to formally announce my resignation from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) with immediate effect.
I seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude for the honour and privilege of serving as the Party’s National Leader and its Presidential Candidate in the 2023 General Elections. As a committed and bonafide member of the party, this was not an easy decision to make.
However, considering the current trajectory of the nation’s political landscape, which calls for strategic realignment, I have found it necessary to identify with another political platform that offers the best opportunity to effectively change the nation.
I extend my deepest appreciation to the National Chairman, Ajuji Ahmed and the entire National Working Committee for their steadfast support throughout my time. I also thank the Board of Trustees, the National Executive Committee, and all levels of leadership across the party — from the ward to the state level, as well as the legacy members of the party and all followers of the Kwankwasiyya Movement for their dedication and commitment to our shared mission.

The video does not even address small vocational artisans such as food vendors, hair stylists, barbers, etc.
Power is a key enabler; providing power creates jobs, reduces insecurity, fights inflation, boosts GDP, and attracts FDI.
President Tinubu also understood this, which is why he promised to fix power, but he has yet to succeed.
Any Nigerian politician who cannot fix power but can collect taxes is not serious about development.

Any president who cannot declare serious state of emergency on Power sector with purposeful policies and intent to kill and obliterate corruption in this sector is still not ready to serve the people. Come to think of it, the president will always be in charge of the Min. Of petroleum Resources, if the president truly wants to fix the power sector, why won’t he be in charge of the Ministry. Over the course of my off period from sea, I’ve met a few people from X and Instagram who walked up to me and asked, “Are you the sailor guy… the Port Harcourt sailor?” I’d smile and say, “Yes, I am.” Then they’d go on, “You’re doing a great job. I love your content, it’s unique. Keep it up.”
Moments like that don’t make me feel like a celebrity or popular. They make me feel seen. Appreciated. It’s a subtle reassurance that what I’m putting out there truly connects with people. And in its own simple way, that has become my drive, my fuel, my reason to keep going.
