Soli Bula' is a story that drew from the Fijian customs & traditions. With Cultural Consultant Simione Sevudredre guiding @TumeliTuqota & team, we were able to confidently tell a story that resonates with indigenous authenticity, while exploring a new fictional narrative.

I'm going to the #rugbyworldcup! ... Actually not really but I'll be going to France next week, to take @solibulafilm to the Rochefort Pasifique film festival which is in Rochefort, France! ... Which is tantalisingly close to Bordeaux where Fiji will be playing Georgia soon 😭

Back in 2016, 'Daunitukutuku' was originally planned to be an animation. @TuiLedua was the concept artist who had done a few character sketches to try and get a feel of what the characters would look like. Here is the film's villain, Inia. #Teamfiji
