Now a Disgraced Country Indeed Today, as the world marks World Health Day, we must pause for honest reflection. Nigeria, a nation of over 200 million people, continues to grapple with one of the weakest healthcare systems in the world. Our primary healthcare structure is almost comatose. We now record worse infant mortality outcomes than India, a country with a larger population, while health insurance coverage in Nigeria remains below 5%. These are not just statistics; they are a painful indictment of our priorities. Recent disclosures by the Honourable Minister of Health show that out of the ₦218 billion appropriated for healthcare capital expenditure, only about ₦36 million has been released. This is deeply troubling. At the same time, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has projected over ₦135 billion for legal expenditures. Let us reflect on this. The amount earmarked for election-related litigation is far higher than what has been made available for primary healthcare, the very foundation of a nation’s wellbeing. This is the same primary healthcare system expected to serve millions of Nigerians and support critical institutions such as: 1. University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City 2. University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar 3. University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada 4. University College Hospital, Ibadan 5. Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife 6. University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin 7. Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Irrua 8. University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu 9. Jos University Teaching Hospital, Jos 10. Aminu Kano University Teaching Hospital, Kano 11. Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos 12. University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, Maiduguri 13. Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital, Nnewi 14. University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt 15. Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto 16. University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Uyo 17. Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria 18. Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki 19. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi 20. Federal Medical Centre, Yola These institutions represent hope for millions. Yet, they remain underfunded, overstretched, and burdened by systemic neglect. A nation that prepares more for electoral disputes than for the health of its citizens is a nation that has lost its way. We must begin to ask the difficult but necessary questions: What are our true priorities? What kind of nation are we building? And for whom? Healthcare and education are not optional; they are the foundation of national development. Any country that neglects them undermines its own future. Nigeria must urgently reorder its priorities. We must invest in the health and wellbeing of our people, strengthen our institutions, and build a system that works for all, not just a few. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

BREAKING: Pastor Tunde Bakare's Citadel Church Clears 4 Billion Naira Wema Bank Loan for The Citadel Church Building "I was dēvàsted and embãrrãssed by the lies that the church is drowning in debt" - Pastor Tunde Bakare Pastor Tunde Bakare, The Founder of Citadel Global Community Church (formerly Latter Rain Assembly), announced on Sunday that the church has fully repaid the 4 billion naira loan from Wema Bank Plc used to build its Citadel worship complex. Pastor Bakare said the repayment clears all debt acquired for the building of the facility, marking a major financial milestone for the ministry. He said the repayment was done in March 2026 adding that money for the payment was from the sale of the property at Akilo, which was sold at exactly N4 billion Remember in 2021, Pastor Bakare spoke to clear the air concerning the debt, stating that the Citadel Church Project was financed by 5 banks without a dime of government money. Pastor Bakare said “We are currently negotiating the interest on the loan which will also be fully paid once the negotiations are concluded.” He said the loan that the Church took for the building was not from WEMA bank alone but from four other banks which had long been paid off. Church Gist. “We took N1.5 billion from Zenith Bank, N500 million from Fidelity Bank, N250 million from UBA, N100 million from Unity Bank and N4.5 billion from WEMA, with an initial deposit of N500 million to WEMA. “We needed an approximated ₦12. 1 billion to construct the Citadel. About 50 percent of this sum came from free will donations by members and our allies while the other percentage was from banks. Church Gist. It is very sad and unfortunate that mischief makers alleged that the church got the loan without security, which was a huge lie." ”The loan was guaranteed by our property that houses the church on No.4 Akilo Road, Ogba, and another property at No 30 Kudirat Abiola way, Oregun, Ikeja. “I was devastated and embarrassed with the lies that the church was drowning in debt,” Bakare said. He said that he strongly believed that failing to repay debts is a breach of integrity and sign of a wicked heart that lacked compassion which is not Christ-like. “I thank God we did not drown in debt and I thank all our members and allies that stood by the Church. The completion of the edifice shall end in peace” he added. #PastorTundeBakare #CitadelChurch #ChurchGist

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.” When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans. In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it. Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

You no lie. That year when we're staying in face me I face you compound. There's this our neighbor, iya bukky, she's into the business. A very fine woman like that with big nyash. God! So, there's this particular day I woke up to pee, it was still very early. I think the time should be around 5am. As I walked to the bathroom, I heard noise inside one of the bathrooms. In that compound we have two bathrooms and two toilet with 15 rooms. The noise was strange and kinda funny. So I decided to stay by a corner close to the kitchen to see who it was. Few minute later the door of the bathroom opened. I was perplexed with what I saw.

How to Build an Investment Portfolio and Convert Your Active Income to Passive Income 1. You earn Abi? If you don't earn, stop here and earn. 2. Make a personal pledge to save 10% of what you earn—meaning you don't spend ₦10 of every ₦100 you get. I recommend setting up a direct debit from your paycheck to a separate account so 10% is taken automatically. Don't trust yourself to transfer manually. Use technology; you can't miss cash you never saw. 3. Of that 10% saved, invest 2% (lock it up, preferably in an equity mutual fund or equity ETF if you are younger—below 50). Put the 8% in a money market fund as your emergency fund (you can touch it, but don't). 4. Do this every month: 10% not spent, 2% invested, 8% saved. 5. Every quarter, take another 2% from that 8% emergency fund and add it to the equity fund (i prefer dividend paying equity). Increase the invested portion by 1% each year. So next year: don't spend 10%; save 7% in a money-market emergency fund; invest 3% in a long-term equity fund. Reinvest dividends. When you get to 10% of your earnings invested, you are ok; at 20%, you can chill. Your goal is to build a passive income portfolio from your active income 6. Get an accountability partner or group. If you have a partner, do this together. Do an investing "ajo" just for commitment. Don't do bulk investment—do monthly investments or invest money anytime it touches your hand if you are self-employed. Ladies, if he can't save 1%, he can't save 10%; save yourself. 7. Don't wait until you "earn more". Don't say "I don't have money". That's the devil trying to mislead you. (yes, same devil that tempted Eve) 8. Minimum, I think you should start to invest with ₦5,000. Meaning: if your 10% is not up to N5000 in a month, accumulate it in an emergency fund; once it reaches N5000, open your equity fund. 9. The key is consistency and discipline, not the amount invested. Ignore the maker's daily rise or fall; you are a long-term investor. 10. This is a proven formula. It will not fail if you follow it. 11. Pay tithes or give to charity—it brings good karma.

“Diogo Jota also died in an accident” “Accidents also happen abroad” “You are demarketing Nigeria”. I hate to indulge lunatics but let’s clarify a few things: NOBODY said accidents can not happen anywhere in the world. Of course it can happen. The sole point we said is the unacceptable absence of immediate emergency medical response at the site of a massive road crash within a critical time necessary to save life. For those who may not be aware: When a major accident has happened, the professional medical advice is you must NEVER drag the person out or manoeuvre their body anyhow out of the crashed car. The reason is because you don’t know if they have any fractures, neck bone injuries or any bleeding anywhere. Your zealous pulling out of the car may worsen things, cause severe bleeding or trigger spinal cord injury leading to permanent paralysis or instant death. This is basic kindergarten first aid training. So when you watch that AJ car crash video and you see the absolute chaotic response by an untrained crowd pulling him and the risk he was exposed to from their intervention, then you will understand why that entire video is a complete indictment of the failed Nigerian healthcare system. Just to be clear and restate: I need to explain this again for those thoughtless individuals who have mortgaged their brains for a cup of rice to defend this incompetent govt; The outrage a lot of us had yesterday was not merely because an accident happened (as this can happen anywhere in the world). The outrage was specifically about the utter absence of life-saving emergency medical response, the visible absence of an ambulance, the obvious absence of trained paramedics and medical personnel, and finally the shameful reality that a medical emergency of such magnitude was left unattended and the only immediate urgent help only came from an untrained crowd of bystanders- whose actions as I earlier explained could potentially further endanger AJ’s life and survival. So to the half-smart obtuse dolts talking of the Jota accident in Europe, my point is the absence of immediate dispatch of emergency medical response which is the hallmark of a sensible sane country where human life has value. Now specifically to the Diogo Jota accident, let me juggle your memories a little. Diogo Jota and his brother had the car crash on the highway in Spain around 12:30am on July 3, 2025. This was midnight local time. Emergency services including firefighters, paramedics, and police, immediately rushed to the scene of the crash on the A-52 motorway. The Emergency services in the Castilla and León region confirmed the incident and deaths of both brothers at 12:35 a.m., indicating a response time of 5minutes after the initial emergency calls were received. FIVE MINUTES!!!!! This was how long it took a coordinated emergency medical response team, police and fire fighters to get to Diogo Jota and his brother to rescue them. The only reason they died was because the car already caught fire, the brothers already died and there was nothing that could be done. Diogo Jota accident was at midnight yet there was emergency medical response within 5minutes!!!!! Now compare this to the chaotic scene at the car crash that AJ had. Imagine if the AJ car crash was at midnight. Yet even though the car crash was during the day, look at the chaotic mess that it was. Zero ambulance. Zero paramedics. Zero emergency medical response. He was dragged out of the car like a sack of rice. This is what APC morons are comparing with the Jota situation. It is also crucial to note that these idiots never compare Nigeria to developed countries when it comes to advancement or development, it is only when it comes to tragedies and backwardness. APC was truly created in hell by vicious wicked demons who are determined to completely destroy Nigeria by populating the country with uncountable retarded lunatic animals who have voluntarily flushed their brains down a toilet. Mic drop.
