The fix isn't "find a better payment processor." The fix is owning your payment infrastructure. Your server. Your wallet. No intermediary who can say no. That's what self-hosted means. That's what we're building.

Every AI company is building the brain. Nobody is building the wallet. The agent that can think but can't pay is a very smart window shopper

Hot take: AI agents won't use Stripe. Not because Stripe is bad. Because agents don't have passports, tax IDs, or physical addresses. The payment layer for agents has to be on-chain, programmable, and permissionless. There's no other option.

An AI agent with no payment capability is an intern. Useful, but you still have to do the actual buying. An AI agent with self-hosted payment endpoints is an employee. It gets things done while you sleep.

Payment processors are the only vendors who can hold your revenue hostage and face zero consequences. Imagine if AWS could freeze your bank account because they didn't like your website content. That's what Stripe and PayPal do every day.

"Just use Stripe" is the "just use Heroku" of payments. Works great until it doesn't. And when it doesn't, you have zero leverage.
