@pgh877 @HunterHodies There is no way we can look like idiots by bridging him. This team has literally nobody coming up that they have to spend money on. Extending him to a long term deal makes literally no sense.

@DanHoppOPS I think that is in some ways a potential good thing. Pens stealing a game they should have lost makes the 4 wins in a row thing somewhat of a believable reality.

I feel like the Pens more or less did the same stupid shit as the other games especially the PP but Vladar just had a really bad game and that was enough to swing it. Still haven’t controlled this series at all for any length of time

Crosby/ Malkin era produced nothing but wins in the playoffs. Flyer fans can’t change that, troll away we’ve taken way worse.
Side note: Fun to watch Karlsson, what a player. Trade him for Letang at any point of 2010’s and Pens probably have two more cups.

most of the time, that 22/23 year old who can't crack the NHL lineup is going to get passed in your system, his 40 points in 60 AHL games is going to turn into 20 points in 60 AHL games, he'll be traded/waived/signed to a team with no investment in him, and then boom Swiss league

@MattGajtka @DannyShireyPGH I mean, I said at the time Mantha was the best winger that we've ever signed as a UFA in the Crosby era (which is hilarious). But, the team not realizing his limitations is also a huge issue. Made no sense to me not to trade him. Don't think it's a huge issue, but still.

I think it’s a little oversimplification to say the Pens look old and slow, it’s not like the Flyers have skated them into oblivion in this series, their biggest issue has been a total inability to complete normal passes. Partly the decision making, partly shitty passing itself
