That wasn’t your point nor alazhar’s, you said “they kill non Muslims and enslave them and its a valid point for opposing”, this sentence on it’s absolute is kufr, and very unislamic. Also you ignored that almost all countries in the world do illegitimate unislamic acts that are far worse than isis’s, yet you don’t see any Muslim treating them as they treat isis or supposedly worse.

Do you consider the vision ISIS had for an islamic state legitmate?

There is no such thing as unarmed civilian in Islam 😂 it’s a modern classification, in Islam it’s either the disbelievers make a legitimate covenant with the Muslims and pledge allegiance therefore they’re called “Thimmis/Muahadūn”, or they’re considered permissible to fight and their women and kids permissible to enslave, this is Islam. Yazidis did not pledge allegiance to what “isis” considers the Islamic state, so they fought them and took their women just as what the prophet and his companions did
