@sometingthing yea it’s a bit older (i got it in 2020) and i took it with me when i moved across the country so maybe it got a little beat up then 😭 it only just started not going down all the way so maybe i’ll upgrade soon

@emailsavenue Makes more sense. I was considering the lp60 when upgrading my terrible record player but it’s lowkey not the best quality and I’ve been collecting for years now. DONT BE PUT OFF IT THO! It’s still a good player. I just like the lp120 better bc pitch control and the counterweight

@sometingthing i added it on yesterday because my needle hasn’t been dropping down all the way on the grooves, making it sound a bit sped up. once i added it it sounded normal again

@emailsavenue Your player is much higher quality, so unless it’s damaged and I just can’t tell, you’re better off without that coin. As it’s just wearing your needle, and maybe your records, down 2/2

@emailsavenue Your setup is tea but I’m not sure that coin over your records tonearm is doing anything other than damage your needle. The only reason why that works on suitcase players is because they have very light weights on them and the coin keeps the needle down. 1/2
