2026 is a milestone year for us. We are now a national provider! After nearly 30 years of building and serving exclusively in California, we have now lit service in another state. For years, our goal has been to bring America’s best internet to everyone, and this is another massive step toward that mission. Thank you so much to every member of our community who believed in us, told a friend about us, took a risk using us when we were a brand-new provider, and stuck with us since the early days. Ah we see. Our current expansion strategy does focus on aerial infrastructure. Neighborhoods with underground utilities require extensive trenching, permitting, and coordination with multiple agencies. These efforts often result in detours, street closures, and increased traffic, which typically affect the community. While we don’t have current expansion plans for your area, we will definitely reach out if that changes in the future!

We offer service in parts of Corona Heights in SF, but all of our builds are unique, and service availability can vary block to block. @akashpavan All our lines are in leaky utility boxes in Corona heights so as soon as winter/rain starts there are gonna be 10 outages. I can't get @sonic to put in fiber so no foreseeable fix/competition. So weird to be dealing with this in the "tech capital" of the USA.

Sorry you’re dealing with this. Sonic’s fiber lines aren’t connected to, routed through, or dependent on any other provider’s lines. Our networks are completely separate, and our team on-site was working only on our own equipment. Since the disruption is happening on your Xfinity service, it may help to reach out to them so they can take a closer look on their end. If you ever have further questions about Sonic’s work in the area, just shoot us a DM!

Really sorry to hear about the disruption — being without service for days is incredibly frustrating. We checked in with our team that was working in the area, and they confirmed that our work didn’t impact any other service providers. Our crew was only working on our own equipment, and we never touch other providers’ lines. Okay, today was try #2 with @quantumfiber / @ATT to get my internet fixed. After standing me up last week, I made an 8-11am service reservation. Now 10:30am I had to call them to check on ETA. Now it's 1-2pm. Absolutely impossible to work with. Do not use Quantum Fiber

.@quantumfiber might have the worst support of any company I've ever dealt with and that's a high bar. How do you just not show up for service call that was made a week ago? When asked to be transferred to a supervisor, unsurprisingly voicemail was full & hung up.

A speed test that low usually indicates something specific is going on (Wi-Fi interference, device limitations, router placement, etc.). @sonic 3 days into getting my fiber internet installed and the service has been down all day now. 🤦🏻‍♂️ not a good first impression! I’m glad I didn’t canceled my other provider and was just able to switch. Thank you but no thank you.
