@groovmekanik Thanks! Most of my friends in the industry do have some kind of background in music making, but over the years with demanding work, building families etc, it is hard to sustain a time-intensive activity like creating music. I am happy that I decided to dedicate last month to it.

@soniccharge It makes it clear why your products are great, because you’re actually a great producer/artist as well. I think thats important, some plugin devs don’t have much to do with the industries they create for.

I've never made so much music in such short time. Starting out, I didn't see myself making it through 31 days straight. I thought I'd hit a wall sooner. But I think it kind of proves that you *can* force creativity. No need to sit around waiting for inspiration.

@BHamadicharef I studied the schematics from the service manual and I *might* have disassembled some code. 😉 (Actually wrote my own symbolic disassembler.) But I never truly understood the inner workings of the YM2409 and 2412 until I made Cyclone, 10 years ago.

I used to own a #Yamaha #TX16W sampler for which Magnus Lidström (aka @soniccharge) developed the #TyphoonOS. I wish he would be interviewed on how it was developed, how they reverse engineered the #YM2409 GEW and #YM2412 ADF chips registers :-)
