I've never seen Red Sox Twitter so down on the team so early and I include myself. It has so far been a horrible year if you're a Red Sox fan and what really sucks is we all know is not going to get any better

Gamboa had an assignment/opt-out clause and there was interest elsewhere so the Red Sox appear to be selecting him to the 40-man. I can also tell you he’s on my flight with a much better seat.

If this did happen, curious how the infield would be aligned. Mayer at 3B then Monasterio at 2B? Maybe move Ceddanne to 2B even though I’d rather have him stay in CF

Also mentioned in @jcmccaffrey’s article: Caleb Durbin could be optioned to AAA at some point to figure out his offense. Unclear if this was a report or speculation, but something to keep an eye on regardless. Durbin is hitting .165 with a .502 OPS and didn’t start yesterday.

The Red Sox are moving Brayan Bello to a bulk relief role tonight.
The stats are tough right now:

He’s only 26. We’ve seen the "Ace" potential before. But we haven’t seen this side of Bello.
