SHOT IN THE DARK: In my opinion, the USA is extremely wary of Israel taking out the Iranian energy sector due to Iranian mass-missile attacks on Israeli civilians. That's where this is headed right now..
I think in exchange for Israel *not* taking out the Iranian energy sector the Trump admin will join Israel in a limited B2 MOP massive penetrator strike on the FORDO facility buried in an Iranian mountain, and this will be the final culminating strike before a declared cease fire. The one capability Israel lacks.
