This weekend, there is a Sonning residents' community catch up, where local residents can meet our local MP, Yuan Yang. This will be held at Sonning Primary School from 13:00 - 15:00 on Saturday 07 June.

Our Year 2 geographers spent a busy afternoon completing a jigsaw of the countries in the United Kingdom. We then used excellent map skills to name these countries and locate their capital cities. #YoungGeographers #SchoolValueCuriosity

Our amazing school choir took to the stage at the Hexagon Theatre as part of this year’s WASMA show - It Takes Two! Five of our talented pupils were selected for solo parts! We are very proud of their commitment, teamwork and passion. #WASMA2025 #SchoolValueAspiration

Pupils led us in our Easter service at St. Andrew's Church. It was lovely to see pupils from EYFS to Year 6 retell the Easter story through poems, acting and bible readings. #TheFoundationsOfChristianity #BuildingStrongFoundations

Incredible sewing sessions in Year 4, crafting some amazing device cases in DT lessons. Some diverse skills used by the children and we are very proud of their final products! #CreativeLearning #SewingSkills

Children from Fir, Holly and Maple Class, visited Sonning Gardens this week and took part in an exciting Easter egg hunt! After this, they spent time speaking to the residents and even sang happy birthday to one resident who was celebrating her 90th birthday! #CommunityLinks

Fir class worked incredibly hard to construct amazing playgrounds! They used saws to cut dowel and lolly sticks, then they used glue guns to attach everything together. What a fantastic day! #SchoolValueAspiration
