Our cats Sarge (tuxedo cat on the left) and Miss Nixie (on the right) wanting to join us for our trip. They did not want to be left behind!

@CincyKidsRad@SIIM_Tweets I had a couple of Penn engineering undergrads some years ago who found a program called "Mouse Odometer. It recorded the distance you moved a mouse. We used it to compare two different PACS. The difference was large and correlated with perceived user effort.
Don't forget to check out the #SIIM20 posters!
Our poster evaluates the correlation between mouse-clicks in PACS and study TAT.
More importantly, our team found that there was a 5x (!) difference in the number of mouse-clicks between radiologists as the read radiographs.

SPIE sent me some stats on the demographics of their meeting attendance over time - before and after their work on expanding diversity. I'd be happy to share these data with you.
@amfmxm@SIIM_Tweets@mohannadhussain Annamarie,
I was very happy when the Board took my suggestion to have an honorary membership and to make you the first recipient!

Session 3003 "How to stop cherry-picking and start contributing". If you are facing increased volumes without increasing personnel, this work from Texas Children's is worth viewing!

If you are a standards geek or an IIP who needs to know what is new with DICOM, IHE, and DICOMweb the session 2007 from today is a nice summary. Potential AI workflow support , in-development DICOMweb zip file retrieve, etc.

Vendor session with Visage; sure it is an advert, but there is a lot in the presentation about cloud PACS - provides some things to consider if you are going to change PACS and/or your EMR to a cloud-based environment.

A favorite analogy from Maryellen Giver - Breast cancer nammographic screening is like Where's Waldo with a thousand pages and Waldo is only on one of those pages.

AI for images is the cool stuff but I think using AI to streamline our workflow would likely have impact more quickly. Reduce manual repetitive steps.
