This ia a good read. Helps to dispel any doubts about the existence of a “Green Wave”. So wake up and smell the coffee. The Malay majority is becoming even more conservative, including in their political preferences. What are you going to do? iseas.edu.sg/wp-content/upl…

I’ve heard and read her comments and opinions on many political issues. They are objective and neutral. If you were Madani, you would find them very useful in whatever political propaganda you might want to churn out. It would be stupid to target her for intimidation.

Here are some Malaysians using them as a mode of transport. They are walking. 👣 The path they are on is meant for motorbikes. 🏍️ Next to it is a road dominated by cars. 🚗 You have not given them a proper place to use their legs. Give them space to use their legs.

🧵 Every time a temple conflict erupts in Malaysia, the public debate hits a wall of racial and religious sentiment. We get trapped in a toxic binary: "Encroachment" vs. "Sacred rights." Both narratives are lazy and harmful. We need to talk about Land Policy.

Malaysia’s rapid data centre expansion drew its first public protest, as some 50 residents gathered near a Johor construction site over concerns about dust pollution and health risks. The protesters said dust from the project has disrupted daily life, with air purifiers signalling dangerously poor air quality. 🧵1

Of course dekat headline tak sebut faktor lain seperti pengaruh masyarakat, pengalaman seksual yang disebut sebelum tekanan kerja. Ada sesiapa boleh cari kajian Sulaiman et al (2017)?

My child is directly affected by the move to allow 6-year-olds start Standard 1 in 2027. I was a bit stressed about it at first but knowing it was optional made it better for me. We decided to discuss w his preschool teacher later and only enroll him if they think he's ready.

Teruskan melawan koruptor bangsat.

Zahid’s NFA: Something is rotten in Putrajaya The Attorney-General’s NFA of Zahid’s 47 CBT & corruption charges is an outrage upon the people’s sense of fairness & justice. Will the AGC give the same lenient & special treatment to an ordinary govt clerk charged for stealing few hundred ringgit? Who can have confidence in the criminal justice system after this? First, in 2022 Anwar appoints Zahid as his deputy prime minister despite all the corruption charges he was facing. ( It was a moment of national shame. Never before, since Merdeka, had a person facing serious criminal charges been made DPM. ) Second, on Sept 4 2023, the AG applied for Zahid’s charges to be dropped & a DNAA was reluctantly granted by the Judge Colin Lawrence Sequerah. The Judge had no choice in the matter. Just before the charges were dropped, the tough prosecutor Raja Rozela was also dropped from Zahid’s case. Third, and finally, the AGC dropped a bombshell that the charges are NFA. The AGC made a weak, pathetic attempt to explain the NFA. But they gave no explanation why they are dropping a case in which the High Crt Judge Colin Lawrence had already decided that a prima facie case was made out. Would Zahid have received such special treatment if he were not the DPM? Would Zahid have received such special treatment if he is not a crucial political ally of Anwar Ibrahim? The whole thing stinks to high heaven. Something is rotten in Putrajaya.

A group of students from multiple public universities has urged the MACC and the Higher Education Ministry to investigate alleged corruption within procurement systems at universities nationwide. Speaking during a press conference at Rumah Mandiri in Petaling Jaya today, Himpunan Advokasi Rakyat Malaysia (Haram) chairperson Brendon Gan described university procurement systems as a “cesspool for corruption and manipulation”. The third-year law student at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), together with student representatives from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), raised concerns following a series of procurement scandals that have implicated public universities over the years. The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is examining the use of infrastructure that prevents homeless people from sleeping in public spaces. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa said that DBKL is studying the implementation of anti-homeless infrastructure in major cities such as London, Tokyo, and Singapore. "This approach also involves the design of public benches, for example, (bench designs) which are not suitable for them to lie down, optimal lighting and landscape layouts that encourage temporary use and are also safe.
