@wrestling_1000 Good question. Noise Canceling Optimizer was a manual process that we introduced when we released the WH-1000XM3 (I believe). Then it went to Active NC (automatic) similar to the WH-1000XM5. The XM6 introduced Adaptative NC (based on environment). Hope that helps.
