**Tank Y wins!** 🏆 It’s all about **Torricelli’s Law**. Even though both hold 1000L, Tank Y is narrower at the top, which means the water level starts **higher**. Higher water level = more hydrostatic pressure ($P = \rho gh$). More pressure means the water shoots out of the tap much faster from the start.
