She’s out of surgery and into the ICU. Everything went well. They ended up having to get veins/arteries from both legs to perform a triple bypass. It’ll be a long road to full recovery, but the surgery was officially a success. Thank you for everyone’s prayers and well wishes.

Today is the day. She goes in for open heart surgery in a few hours. It’ll be a coronary artery bypass grafting surgery to address blockages of 100%, 80%, and 70%. I appreciate all of the continued thoughts and prayers. Thank you to everyone who has recently reached out.

I’m about to the point that IF we have good to elite QB play out of Mateer, this team can/will win the SEC. It’s the best Oklahoma team under Venables. Quite frankly, not sure it’s close. You have the right position coaches now, as well. Big season ahead for the Sooners. 👀
